Initially, I had decided I was going for Jo Malone English Oak & Hazelnut – beautiful autumnal fragrance, perfect for an autumn wedding. Then, I had decided on Byredo Gypsy Water – a fragrance I use quite often for special occasions. But then, oh but then… I stumbled upon Byredo Mojave Ghost, and oh my goodness I knew then it had to be the one, it was the one.

The other two, they were stunning, they were familiar, they were very me. But did I get that – wow, oh my gosh, this is the one! – feeling with them? To be honest, no. I didn’t even know that was a thing with my wedding perfume, so it came as a surprise. As soon as I inhaled it though, I could just visualise our entire wedding plans, greeting our loved ones, seeing each other as we met down the aisle, I could picture all the unique little details we have planned, and my special fragrance was chosen.

Mojave Ghost is unlike any scent I’ve tried before, probably one of the reasons I love it so much. I love anything that is unique to me – and obviously there will be so many other people who wear this gorgeous scent – but I don’t know anyone who is part of my circle, that wears it, nor have I experienced it on any other people I’ve come across before.

It’s woody, it’s fresh, it’s quite autumnal (yet would strangely work for any season), it’s light – yet has a major impact, it’s very pretty, and it completely stands out from the crowd. It has brilliant longevity, I could still faintly smell it on my skin after showering, and projection is perfect too – it makes an impact, but it doesn’t overpower. It has notes of Amber, Cedarwood and Chantilly Musk, lifted by explosions of violet, citrusy Magnolia and Sandalwood.

To me, it’s perfection. It’s beautiful, it takes me to a happy place, and it’s my one.

Shop the Post

*Ad – Affiliate links

[5,1673
39,40,41,42,44,1680,1926,1701,1682,151,1681,1700,1736,1712,1717,1691
post-14358","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-beauty","category-weddings","tag-beauty","tag-beauty-blog","tag-beauty-blogger","tag-beauty-bloggers","tag-beauty-review","tag-bridal","tag-bridal-beauty","tag-bride-blog","tag-bride-to-be","tag-fragrance","tag-wedding","tag-wedding-blog","tag-wedding-blogger","tag-wedding-planning","tag-wedding-plans","tag-weddings
["GET
